Businesses - A Few Figures To Tickle Your Passion For Social Media.
A couple of figures to tickle your passion for social media in your business:
Over a third of a million people use Facebook throughout the globe and more than half of these sign in each and every day. 55 million status updates are posted just about every day and more than 2.5 billion photos are published every single month. There is more.
Twitter announced 30 million clients in July 2009. Of these, nearly three quarters registered in early 2009. 1/3 of users produce the largest part of the activity.
Do you realize how many blog posts are submitted each and every day? What about news media, media releases, photo and video clip sharing submissions? Imagine billions.
Every single DAY!!!!
OK. You either understand this or you really don't. Lots of individuals don't. That's OK - these people are most likely to expend their time on social media platforms speaking to mates and organizing meetups. But, data illustrates that 80% of these types of individuals make buying decisions utilizing online media.
That is, purchasing judgements
Now, if you're an organization or a business that sells something for a profit then you might like to be before these purchasers. You might like to be a component of their judgement. If you do not, then your competitors probably will.
Many organizations recognize this and are spending hard cash into becoming an element of the social networking conversation. But, this is not done without risk, of course. Should expert and appropriate planning be instituted, the risks will be small and the benefits potentially large.
