Mompreneurs - Why Coaching Does Work.
Whether you like the term Mompreneur guru, expert, coach or mentor, the reality is that having someone that is already a Mompreneur success to learn from will help you get started faster and reach your goals quicker. There is an endless number of websites that have resources, tools and guides to get started online, just as there are hundreds of way to work online. But if you don't have time to waste, you need someone with proven results.
The area of Work at Home Mom (WAHM) is a growing field, as more and more Moms realize they can stay home raise their children and still build a successful online business. The reason many fail is often not because of skill, but largely due to the huge learning curve associated with going it alone. Coupled with overwhelm of choices and resources just to find the right online model for them. And thats before they even make a cent.
This is why Moms that seriously want to make a go of it are joining paid membership sites to be taught by an expert, rather than "reinventing the wheel." A mentor that has actually succeeded at the very task they teach! that provides you with the information that you need step-by-step, no wasted time and has the expertise necessary to give you great insights is what the serious Mompreneur is after.
There are so many self-proclaimed WAHM coaches out there. Don't waste your time or money on someone who doesn't know what they are doing, if you want to be a successful Work at Home Mom, learn from someone that is doing it and can teach you the ropes, and what traps to jump over. If you are already working online, or if you want to get started as a Work at Home Mom, there are a few steps you should take to help protect you, your business, and your money and help you find the best Mompreneur Mentor for you.
Do your research!
Firstly, do your research. Ask the mentor if you can have a chat online using a resource like skype before you join the coaching, you will find out quickly whether they know there stuff, they will either decline the chat or should be thrilled to talk to you.
Coaching Methods
The second thing you should ask is the amount of time that the mentor has available to you, based on the level of coaching you undertake. This will impact on the cost of the coaching. Find out if they will personally be answering your questions and running the webinars, or do they hire someone else. This will give you a good indication of whether they truly want you to succeed. Having a mentor or coach that does not have the time for you can be a costly mistake that does not care or help you gain the level of knowledge that you need as a Mompreneur.
Once you have taken the time to find the right Work at Home Mom coach for you, you can feel confident in knowing that you have made one of the most valuable decisions you could make. Working from Home has worked for thousands of successful Moms, many of whom now make full-time income and have even replaced their spouses income. Doing a little bit of research can help you find the perfect Mompreneur coach for you, which is a win-win for your business.
